"Outstanding Care"

I was admitted to Ward W1 as a day case for a diagnostic procedure.

I was expected and welcomed warmly in arrival by the Ward Clerk who introduced me to the nursing staff and showed me to the bed. The nursing staff quickly checked all my details and completed the paperwork and made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay.

On going to theatre for the procedure the team were very thorough, explained everything that was planned and reassured me about the process. The theatre team were friendly and very professional and I was in recovery after a short procedure which was very smooth and less uncomfortable than I had feared.

I was taken back to the Ward to be greeted by the same team and offered tea and toast while I was monitored to ensure I was well. I was then allowed up and to dress and go home.

The level of care and professionalism from everyone was outstanding. The hospital is modern, very clean and staffed by lovely, caring people.
