It all started at the end of last year.

My daughter of 16 years old landed up in ARI cut a long story short she had burst appendix she was discharged after a 6 day stay she wasn’t a well girl at all after being discharged she was readmitted after 4 days at home she landed up over at RACH due to flu epidemic at ARI she was in the surgical ward the care she received was second to none she landed up getting major surgery due to complication of the appendicitis. The care and support we received as a family was beyond words special thanks to Mr Driver who basically saved her life and his medical team, gastric team,dietitians, physio Anna, psychologist, doctors and nurses especially Lauren Morag Tracey and Claire you are all angels in our eyes and helped us through the dark days our daughter was a very sick girl. Without your care and expertise things would have taken a different turn.

We as a family will never forget you all a massive thank you X

Hi Saviour, Thanks very much for posting your feedback, it sounds like your family went through a very scary time. I am so glad to hear that your daughter received such excellent care and hope that she is now going from strength to strength.

The nurses, doctors, physios, dieticians and all the other Allied Health Professions work very hard together in order to ensure that our patients receive the very best care. We have a fabulous team here at Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital and they will be delighted when I share your feedback with the teams., as well as those that you give a special mention to.
