"Golf course to Victoria Hospital"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Minor Injuries Unit Victoria Hospital / Cardiology

(as a service user),

Felt a bit rough on golf course. Took myself to Queen margaret, got a row for not going 999, immediate help in minor injuries unit and ambulance called to take me off to A& E at the Victoria. Got another row in ambulance for not calling 999 - big smile as well. after a& E to cardiac unit where much help and off to Edinburgh for a stent. Started this Monday pm and home Thursday evening.   Fantastic help and I will ever be grateful for the NHS and its people

Dear pensmith,

Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience this week with the NHS, it's great to read that your home now and doing well.

I will pass your story on to all the staff on the cardiac unit, here at the Victoria Hospital. Who will be chuffed to know that along with the other areas of the NHS you encountered this week you found their help fantastic and are grateful (even if you did get two rows along the way- but that's only because they care).

Hope you're back playing golf soon and take care.

Jamie Gorman
