"If I ever return, I'm confident I'd be in safe hands."

I attended the emergency department at Airedale hospital after being advised by a 111 call handler. I was struggling to cope with pelvic pain and sickness.

From the moment I arrived at the emergency department to the moment I was discharged from ward 13 I was very well looked after by the wonderful staff. Everyone Involved in my care, from the doctors, nurses, porters and ultrasound lady were so kind, compassionate and caring. They couldn’t do enough for you and they work really hard.

I haven’t a bad word to say about anyone, or the hospital it’s self, the hospital was very clean and comfortable. I felt I was always kept up to date and informed, despite it being very busy. I was cared for a reassured when I got upset and anxious. This was the first time I had to have treatment at Airedale hospital as I have not lived in the area very long. But it is definitely the best hospital I’ve ever been to.

If I had to return to Airedale for any other treatment. I would not feel worried or upset as I am confident I would be in safe hands in a nice hospital. Thank you to all staff on ward 13, the ultrasound department and accident and emergency. You are all lovely and Airedale is a fantastic hospital.
