We had an awful experience. Apart from a couple of midwives, the others were not very caring or friendly, not forthcoming with what was happening and made us feel like we were putting them out. It made the birth of our first child not as enjoyable as it should have been. I don't know why half of them are in this line of work with such lack of empathy.
