I was admitted to castle hill on 22nd March, to have a lung biopsy the following day.
I have had many previous operations, but this was the first one at castle hill, although both my father and brother have both been in the same ward, but many years ago.
From walking into the ward, untill walking out, i found the staff to be very caring, eager to help in any way, approachable, and very professional.
The food was more than acceptable, and the kitchen staff, as everyone else, were pleasant, and if they didnt have what you liked on the menu, would offer some sort of alternative.
Even when working short staffed, due to last minute sickness, the care never changed, and the staff got on with it, whilst obviously working under extra pressure.
All in all, a really positive experience, under the circumstances, and i would really recommend castle hill hospital to anyone to have any sort of surgery.
"Brilliant care, from the cleaners to the surgeons."
