"Outstanding Service"

I would like to leave some positive feedback on the SPA service.

I had to use this service on Easter Saturday.

My husband has rectal cancer and is on concurrent chemotherapy and radiotherapy , he also has a DVT in his left leg, which causes him great pain.

He was finding it increasingly difficult to get upstairs to the bathroom and I therefore needed to source a commode.

It was the weekend and therefore out of hours and even as a Practice Manager with 31 years’ experience in General Practice, I was at a loss as to what to do.

A GP friend suggested I ring SPA.

I’m so glad I did.

The service was absolutely outstanding, from the first lady who took my call, to the nurse who then rang me back and eventually the man who delivered a commode that evening.

Every one of them listened to me crying, reassured me and provided an outstanding service and positive result for us.

In what is a very stressful time for us at the moment, this act of incredible kindness helped us so much.
