I have been a patient at the Victoria Hospital ward 43 since the building opened.
This ward must be one off the most popular in the whole hospital, it is always full to capacity but no matter how busy the staff are they give you the best care possible, if it wasn’t for the staff past and present I would not be here today, I have literally losted count of the amount of time they have saved my life partly due to the fact that they know me and can often tell that I need more help before I do, on occasion I have had to be transferred to medical high dependency or critical care unit where I have also received excellent care ,
I have at times been on other wards in the hospital where I was given good care as well but have also seen the difference as ward 43 has to be the most busy ward there is in the hospital and the staff are always under pressure as with the conditions most patients have require a lot of time and care , the treatment the staff give in such a high demanding ward is exceptional and are at times not given the praise and appreciation that they deserve,
I would like to take this opportunity to let the staff on ward 43 how much I truly am great full for all that they have done for me over the years and for many more to come,
