I visited Dartmouth hospital without appointment for an INR test to be greeted by a helpful and cheeful receptionist and a nurse who suggested, to avoid waiting, that I return two hours later. This was convenient. On my return I was seen promptly and received the result within minutes. I emailed the reading to my consultant at St Richards hospital Chichester who ermailed back dosing instructions by return. We were then able to continue our holiday without delay
