About: Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital

We recently had our baby delivered and could not thank the staff enough for all their help and support during our stay there. We arrived for a planned C-section and found the process on arrival very efficient and highly organised, the midwives made us both feel at ease and helped us a lot. They all gave my partner extra support with breast feeding and they went above and beyond, even making a special visit to see us often after they had worked a 13 hour shift. We would highly recommend this hospital to have your baby delivered and even I was allowed to stay with my partner throughout the stay which really helped the bonding process with the new born. After much bad press about care in the NHS, i felt that it was only right to praise ALL the staff we have dealt with during our stay, Thanks very much to you all, we really appreciated it.

Dear Alan, Sarah and Luke,

Firstly, I would like to say a huge congratulations to you all for the birth of your little one. It really does mean a lot to us to receive such lovely feedback, especially when I imagine you must have your hands full at the minute!

It’s so important for us to hear about the care you all received during this time and I am so delighted that our maternity team went above and beyond for you. Thank you so much for taking the time to share this with us, after a long shift it is always nice to read about the impact you’ve had on someone. I will be sure to share this with the maternity team today.

I hope you are all doing well and please do not hesitate to get in touch should you need anything.

Best wishes,

Annie
