"very rushed, only got 5 minutes with..."

About: Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital

What I liked

Nursing and phlebotomy staff in outpatients clinics are nice and remember me and are very friendly. Would recommend them definitely. Consultant asked me the right questions.

What could be improved

Definitely a problem where they always seem to be very late - I do appreciate they have so many patients but it is still a problem that could be sorted in various ways - perhaps more clinics and more neurologists too.

Anything else?

Consultants never seem to have enough time with me - I only got 5 minutes if that! This is very inadequate for discussing problems, particularly any new ones. It was so rushed and I did not feel I got many of my questions answered and the consultant was ushering me out of the door before I had finished! The other thing that really concerns me is he did not have enough time to even discuss medication side effects, etc. I have had this quite a few times now and have been unhappy with my visits here for this same reason in the past. It is pointless to go and wait for so long to see a consultant to then have it so rushed that only half, if that, of your questions/concerns get answered. The other thing is consultants never even apologise to you for being so late which I feel is quite rude. Simple politeness and manners definitely would not go a miss.
