About: Royal Bournemouth General Hospital

Recently my GP recommended a colonoscopy. I was contacted by the department to arrange a time. The communication was excellent and all my queries were dealt with. On the day the staff were helpful and friendly. To my surprise the procedure was carried out with no discomfort and all went very smoothly.

I could not have asked for better treatment or care.

It sounds like everything ran very smoothly for you and it is always good to know that the communication and ‘patient pathway’ between the GP surgery and the hospital works efficiently.

I’m sure patients will be encouraged to hear how painless and ‘easy’ the process was for you and thank you for noting how friendly and helpful the staff in the department were during your procedure.
