"Rude and unorganised"

About: St Lukes Surgery

I go to dt lukes because its most convenient for me, i need to see doctors regular with my twins as they was premature and i have to have my b12 injections and its just easier to get to with the twins.

Its a nightmare to get appointments my husband needed an evening appointment which i was told he could book then by another receptionist told i couldnt because its only for emergencys. How do you expect my husband to make an oppointment after work for a non emergency, in his job you cannot just book a day off or morning.

I find the receptionists rude. Many of times ive been standing there and there talking amongst thereselves, or one receptionist was on a family call! They dont dont always answer the phones when u finally get through to make an emergency appointment. Most appointments i have to wait up to 3 weeks for the two of my girls. My twins are on nutriprem 2 they have been since they was born as they was 10 weeks early. It was stopped in february and ky girls was very ill on 2 other brands of milk. I phoned the doctors, hospital and HV, lighthouse centre also. As i was told they will not give me anymore milk until the consultant confirms it. I did try them on other milk. But they was ill, i dont know who but someone confirmed i could go back on the milk! Ive since then had at least 2 more collections of theis milk and they ve waited for me to run out to say they are refusing me again! I went to pharmacy befor i ran out and it only takes 2 days to get it. I then had receptionist phone me to tell me my pharmacy cant get it and to take it to the hamstel pharmacy which i couldnt do. I then get a call today by a rude receptionist saying they are not going to give me the milk and apparently they made a second error. Well it was only yesterday the receptionist told me the doctor said they didnt want me to change the milk and to go to the other pharmacy, but because they didnt write that on the system she told me they have nothing to say they even phoned me yesterday!. Your receptionist rudely says well bring your girls in today to the doctor at 11 because you need to sort it out with them. You never have appointments but on your error and my inconvenience u suddenly have two together. Not all your receptionists are rude but moŕe than half. And they obviously do things differently and dont communicate. This isnt right that for second time you have refused my babies there milk which will now make them ill until you confirm it again. You will have ruined there routine as they wont be drinking the new milk. Also if i get treated worse because of this i will be making a further complaint as you have treated other family members that go there badly and they ve heard say things bad about them.

Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback.

We are sorry to learn of your dissatisfaction at the level of service that you and your family have experienced at St Lukes and Botley Surgery.
