"Scary and unsatisfactory experience"

About: New Cross Hospital / Dermatology

My appointment at New Cross dermatology department today was just truly awful. When you do see the doctor you are very quickly ushered out and made to feel like you are taking up they're time. The doctor hardly looked at me just talked to the computer and completely dismissed one of my medical issues because he just couldn't be bothered going into it. There is no emotional support for one's mental health at a time when you feel vulnerable and you're needing answers. I didn't feel informed or empowered about my medical condition I tried to ask questions but it was just a complete waste of time.It is so sad that this health system that we believe is there in our time of need to support us just does not exist anymore. So much for the caring profession.I am also going to have to go private. I have only one body and only one life it matters to me! Very disappointing and upsetting.
