I have had many experiences with the hospital over the last 2 years and seen my consultant on 14th Feb 2018 to discuss my final surgery. I am waiting for an ileostomy reversal that should of been done 6 weeks after having it done (its now been over 13 weeks). On the day I met with my consultant I was put down for urgent surgery having explained that I had been offered new employment which had kindly been put on hold until after my surgery and recovery. On the same day I had my pre-op and bloods and I've had the requested scan. I have sent various emails regarding my date for surgery but have been consistently told my consultant is busy, which I understand, so I agreed that I would go onto the pooled list and have any capable surgeon do it. Weeks later and I have still not received a date and now to make matters worse my new employer has retracted my job offer due to the waiting. Thank you Manor Hospital for the constant delays that have resulted in me losing out on employment.
