It's been a year since I had my daughter, Bath hospital was great the delivery staff were amazing the member of staff delivered our baby she was very kind and supportive very experienced I was very lucky to have such a great midwife for my delivery ,the 24 hour after care staff were also fantastic we were exhausted after a very long labour and difficult delivery and the staff went above and beyond helping us every hour.
After 24 hours we went up stairs the the Mary ward they were obviously very busy there was a couple of younger nurses which came in every couple of hours I can't remember names but the young girl was very helpful and polite helped me breast feed and got us anything we needed but the other younger girl was very rude when I explained I was in extreme pain still couldent walk very well and asked if I could have a clean gown and sheets as I was sitting in loads of blood and had to stay 5 days after delivery she said it wasent her job and gave me a massive attitude about it. Other than her the chefs were great offering me food and if they had extras they always offered me extra or gave it to my partner and also the ladies who cleaned my sheets in the morning we're great ! They were so friendly and helpful they even made sure my partner had bedding because of our longer stay. Bath was a great place to deliver thank you!
