I took my daughter with an infected toe and the staff were amazing. Very thorough and she has had to go back over the weekend to have it redressed. They were so caring and gentle with her and very informative. Brilliant

Thank you for sharing your daughter’s experience with us when you recently attended the Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) at The Tyrrell in Ilfracombe, and I am sorry to learn that one of her toes had become infected.

It is reassuring to know that the staff kept you informed of what they were doing and treated your daughter in a kind and sensitive way.

I am glad that staff followed up your daughter’s care over the week-end and I hope that her toe heals quickly.

I have forwarded on your kind comments to the Manager of the MIU where they will be gratefully received by the staff involved in your daughter’s care.
