"Avoid If You Can. Patients with Dementia..."

About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

What I liked

Nothing

What could be improved

Everything, and for staff to keep a closer eye on dementia patients. Please put up this comment as I do feel that people especially with dementia parents or family should know that this could and did happen. I want others to know about this. Dont assume that your family are safe at this hospital and well cared for and watched, cause they are not.

Anything else?

Yes. Try to avoid if you can because they don't care properly for the patients, especially those with dementia. My Father with dementia and heart disease walked out of this hospital and was missing for 8 hours on the streets. The staff had an uncaring attitude as well about it all. Lucky my Father showed up at another hospital later at 11pm. His head was bleeding. I received the call in the day of my Father being missing and I live the other side of London. I thought patients were safe when in hospital. I rushed to Essex and we drove around in our cars looking for him for hours around Romford.
