"QEH Dialysis Unit-lack of compassion and care"

About: King's Lynn and West Norfolk

(as a service user),

I have been on HD (haemodialisys) for 18years this year.

Have watched the good staff disappear and everything generally has gone so downhill in my view. I am afraid of what they are doing or not doing when I'm asleep or out of it. Especially after having an accident last year and three times in hospital when they didn't think I'd make it cos of the lack of treatment and checkouts from the renal consultant. Each time has been because of no one checking, caring or no communication. Am sick of the way I'm treated and have been threatened by a one particular nurse because I complained and they are still doing it but no one ever watches what they are doing or notices. They do as little as possible and dont respect anyone's privacy  or anything else at all. Still stirring between me and my wife and other members of staff???like a child in a playground!

This place was once ran very efficiently with a member of staff checking on things and always used to ask all patients whilst there if they had any worries or problems. And she didn't ignore them. She was a senior nurse.

I have amnesia since brain damage last year and seizures but still no help or consideration. All I asked was that anyone and everyone who does anything or comes in to please write down what they've said or done but the manager put a stop to that straight away and refuses even though it was to help my memory and frustrations. Is this sort of (non) care right ?
