"An amazing person"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow)

(as a service user),

Over the course of the years Mr. Hajivassiliou has been my consultant I’ve felt like my life has gotten better and I’ve felt more independent. He’s listened to me, involved me in conversations about my health and he would always ask for my opinion and ask if I’m happy with what the procedure that would be carried out.

He’s saved my life and I don’t think I could ask for a better consultant, he genuinely cares about his patients and for that I love him and he’s an amazing person xx

Dear SC18

Thank you for sharing your feedback on Care Opinion. It is lovely to hear your kind words about the care and support Mr. Hajivassiliou has given you over the years. As you say it is so important that children and young people feel involved in all aspects of their care and feel they have a voice in what is happening with their care and treatment. Your positive comments highlight the difference this can make when you do feel involved, kept up to date and cared for.

We have shared your feedback with Mr Hajivassiliou and he was touched and delighted to receive this.

I hope you are keeping well at this time.

Best wishes

Pam
