I had an mri scan on 4 February & was diagnosed with systematic scleroderma on 6 February before the scan i was asked if id had a head injury or anything metallic in my head in the past which I replied no, after id been in the scanner for approximately 10minuites the radiologist asked me twice if i was sure i hadnt had a head injury or metallic in the past which i replield no. When i hadnt heard anything after 4 weeks i phoned i was told they were writing report, after not hearing anything i phoned again 10 days later & was told nothing significant had been found but the report was waiting for the registrar to sign , since the scan my symptoms have become worse & i have all the symtoms of atherosclerosis which is directly linked to systematic scleroderma ( hardening of the blood vessels) i still havent heard anything 47 days afer my MRI & feel badly let down. Ive got an appointment with my GP on 29 march & if i havent heard anything or am told there's nothing found ill have to pay for a private consultation.
