Same as a previous reviewer, I have just spent ONE HOUR on the phone trying to be put through to the correct department. I kept getting misdirected and cut off several times. I had to keep calling back, explaining my query over and over. At one point the switchboard reception "dude" answered the telephone simply with 'ello?
How very unprofessional. If their switchboard / reception department is this inefficient, what is the rest of the hospital like?
When I finally got through to the correct consultant, I mentioned the above. He was very pleasant but justified it with being understaffed.
REALLY? My job would be on the line if my telephone manner was this poor.
It is totally apparent that the "staff" couldn't care less. Just a shame that they get paid from my NI contributions.
"Telephone "system" unprofessional and lacking..."
