"Patronising"

I have visited this practice a few times after registering, I can not fault the receptionists or the nurse who are very good at their jobs. I can however fault the female Doctor who is rude, patronising and uncaring. When visited with suspected food intolerance/ IBS I was laughed at and told 'you can't develop that later in life'- well yes you can. I happen to be in a position working in the pharmacy sector and although not a doctor have more knowledge about certain conditions than perhaps the average member of the public and I know for a fact most of the 'advice' I have been given has been incorrect. The Doctor made me feel extremely uncomfortable and stupid. When I asked why I am having the symptoms as they didn't really offer an explanation, I was told 'you can have a biopsy if you don't believe me, they'll insert it in your back passage and you won't like it'!-

Great advice- and inaccurate, you can have a blood test.
