I remember when the ward sister in her starched apron governed, literally, with an understanding of responsibility not found today. However the proffesionalism. compassion and genuine caring has not changed and is to be everywhere apparent. The desire to be involed in the NHS is still a vocation and I for one, could not be more grateful. Thank you.
