I have already reported this issue further. I would just like to express my frustration today at surgery not only did I feel like a second class citizen, really poorly waiting with a high fever 5 months pregnant. My main complaints was when I walked in, my date of birth was taken in, and not my name. Was told to wait and when I was called in to see the doctor, I was called a different name ! As I walked in to the doctors , I double checked with him and yes! The receptionist made a terrible medical mistake by putting me in on the system as someone else??? What if in the worst scenario I was given medication under someone else's name? What if she was a critically ill person and as they mistook my identity, prescribed me her medication? My ex husband is a surgeon and for the sake of the practice and safety of the patients, better care needs to be enforced to avoid future embarrassment. I am still in shock ! Just had to express my concerns:(
