I suffered a SAH while driving my car with my 2 young children in the car. As a medical professional myself I knew what was most likely the cause of my sudden, horrendous headache.
I was transferred to the neurosurgical ward 63 at the qeuh.
From the ambulance crew, porters, auxiliaries to the nursing staff and medical staff, each step of the way I was treated with compassion. I am so thankful to my neurosurgical team, under the care of Mr Grivas and interventional neurologist Dr Siddiqui. I was investigated and diagnosed and treated with professionalism but also with great compassion. Dr Siddiqui ensured I understood every aspect of what was involved in my DSA scan and took me through it step by step. I was overwhelmed by his expertise and kindness.
Nursing care has been wonderful, with all staff being caring and most importantly reassuring through what has been a scary time.
"Wonderful care"
