"Labour and birth"

About: Victoria Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I gave birth at Victoria hospital Kirkcaldy in October 2017.

It was a straightforward birth with no complications and the midwives that delivered my baby girl were fantastic (Irene and Katrina).

The care received after the birth was brilliant. There was trouble latching on for breastfeeding and I had to stay two nights in total, but help was provided every step of the way.

Overall I am left with a very positive memory of the birth experience because of the midwifery team.

I deliver lots of parenthood classes. I work as part of an antenatal team to ensure women get clear, helpful information to allow them to make choices about the care they teceive.

Thank you so much for such a positive feedback story. We are really glad to hear that you had great help with your feeding, This is such an important part of your early postnatal care and to know that you had support with this is really reassuring.

Thank You
