After having an ultrasound scan, it was discovered that there was "something" showing which should be investigated.
Within two weeks I was seeing a consultant and after seeing him, I was admitted to have the hysteroscopy and D&C proceedure done. This was done at Solihull Hospital and I have to say the whole experience was as pleasant as something like this could be.
The staff on the ward were extremely caring, kind and considerate. The ward was bright and airy and there was a television to watch whilst we were waiting. After the procedure, the theatre staff looked after you really well, making sure your pain was controlled and when you were returned to the ward, the staff there brought you a sandwich of your choice and a drink.
We were all given plenty of useful information prior to the op and also advice for afterwards. A totally good experience.
