What I liked

My 5 year old son was in for Day surgery and was picking up on my anxieties. The sister, the staff nurse, the auxiliary workers worked extremely hard to reassure both myself and the care for my son was outstanding. If it weren't for one of the sisters I'm not certain he'd not have screamed the place down when told he was going down to surgery. A play worker came and explained used a picture book what he was going to see, here and do and helped him understand everything. The ENT specialist was absolutely fantastic and spoke to him rather than to us which reassured all of us. That's what children need in situations. I can't thank them enough for the care that got us through this worrying time.
