About: Walm Lane Surgery

Having recently moved to area and with a very new diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease at 50 years old, I asked. My neighbour to recommend a surgery.

She sent me to Walm Lane.

I would like to thank the team, you arrive in a light, bright reception and the receptionists are immediately welcoming.

I have never needed a doctor before, so they patiently taught me procedures and set me up online etc.

I then met the wonderful, warm and kind doctor.

The doctor has taken such care of me and is walking alongside me on this strange treatment journey.

Nothing is too much, the doctor is so encouraging, reviews my drugs, looks at all my other treatments and gives impartial advice.

The doctor has made my fears get smaller.

The doctor is hugely knowledgeable but above all, kind.

I had to see another doctor when they were away and the other doctor was wonderful too - so kind.

The doctor stepped on another unrelated illness and was so helpful.

They have a sense of humour or an inner ability to make you comfortable.

Anyway, I just want to thank them, I don't dread my visits, I actually enjoy being there.

The waiting room is a friendly place too, seems we all know we got lucky with our practice!

I have been so supported. I keep recommending them to locals we are meeting.

Thank you all.
