About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary

What I liked

I underwent a gastrc bypass at DRI and wanted to express how fantastic the staff were. Everyone was supportive and caring. My consultant surgeon saw me twice a day everyday on the wards until I was allowed home four days post op. Which in previous experiences is a bit of a reareity. I was also seen by the anaesthetist on the morning of my op to explain exactly what would happen, which was truely reassuring and seen again twice post op.

The bariatric nurse also came to see me a couple of times most days and was amazing.

All the staff could not have done more for you. I would only say the staff on ward 21 were on occasion a little stretched.

Overall incredibly grateful to all staff!
