The waste/duplication/inefficiency I want to tell you about is:

Lack of coordination in patient transport system/transport for social care - different eligibility for transport services/public passenger transport.

It feels like it is everyone problem but nones responsibility

I support the organisation in making sure that the voice of patients and the public is heard and used in planning services. This involves running events, managing surveys, and building networks with the local community.

This comment was posted from our Stakeholder event in June. We are asking for help in identifying waste and inefficiencies within health services, as we want to make provide the best value we can for public money.

A full report of the event has been sent to attendees and NHS Rotherham Board. Details of specific actions and issues have also been passed to commissioning staff for action.

Specific Issues Raised Above

This is an issue that we may need to pick up with our partner organisations, but certainly is something that we could look into. I will pass this onto staff who are working on transport issues.
