"My knee operation"

About: Wrightington Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

I had a full knee operation 18th January, and would like to say what a wonderful job done by the surgeon and his team. I was put at ease both before and after the operation, and even when as a result of the operation I developed Planter Fasciitis the Surgeon came to see me and to reassure me and explain what it was. If there was a down side it was the Nursing CARE - it isn't what it used to be.

Many thanks for taking the time to post your comments on this website. Thank you for your positive feedback in respect of your operation and post operative care from the surgeons. I am sorry to read that the nursing care was not up to the standards that we are proud of. I will ensure that your posting is shared with the Clinical Director and Head of Nursing within the Division of Specialist Services, who I am sure will discuss your comments with their team members.
