Mum was admitted to A&E in Blackburn in March. It was like the third world, so jammed you had to squeeze sideways past trolleys at one point.
The staff (everyone from the paramedics to reception to nursing and doctors) were superb and calm in all this chaos. Impressive beyond belief.
Mum was then transferred to the Acute Unit where, again, she was well cared for prior to being discharged the following day.
We can't speak highly enough about the team at Royal Blackburn but, in terms of useful feedback and in addition to the aforementioned A&E conditions, a couple of points might be useful for you. Mum lost a coat and a pair of specs which we know were with her in A&E but then went missing, and when we got home we found she still had a chunky butterfly in her arm. So far the coat and, more importantly, specs are proving elusive to track down. Do you want the butterfly back?
Overall, though, eleven out of ten for the team.....
