Ward 2 E total and utter nightmare from admission to discharge. Induction of labour on 15/02/18 nobody listened to me when I said I felt unwell. Became worse by the next day. Kept being told it was pregnancy related to have a fever swollen legs mottled skin shivers vomiting upset tummy. By the Saturday my family where so concerned but still nobody listened. I finally went to the delivery suite at 3.3pm and from there in all hell broke loose. Thank god for this 1 midwife who took one look at me and knew how poorly I was. Within an hour I was on IVS antibiotic fluid and pain relief being prepared for an emergency cesarean. My baby having to have IVs for 7 days and me for 10 days. I was in hospital for 12 days. Home for 4 and back on antibiotics for another 7 days. All because my whole body was full of infection and nobody listened. Total lack of care and compassion from every midwife apart from 1. I was even told by one midwife she would get me pain relief. Guess what I'm still waiting. Sorry Whiston maternity unit you have ruined what should have been the most memorable occasion in my life my first baby instead I have been left traumatised. I would not put an animal in your care and I really don't know how you have been voted as outstanding trust. As I would not put my trust in you
