What could be improved

Your entrance resembles a scene from Little Britain! Why oh why despite huge signs to the contrary do you allow the whole area outside the entrance to be used as a smoking area by both patients, relatives and even more disgustingly by staff! You are supposed to be promoting Health not allowing it to be damaged. The impression it gives is appaling. Patients wheeled out in pyjamas and night dresses with plaster casts and bandages some in wheelchairs, some with mobile drips in there arms - all smoking! Why don't you enforce your smoking ban? Why aren't staff given warnings for breaking the rules of what is after all their workplace? Why spend millions of taxpayers money on your site then ruin it all in this way? I looked for someone from Security to stop people abusing the no smoking area but - you guessed it - the only Security person I found was having a fag - you couldn't make it up! Please pass these comments on to your Chief Executive for a personal e-mail reply - I don't want your standard ''please phone this number response''.
