About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow)

(as the patient),

I would like to share my experience while having day surgery at Royal Hospital for Children Glasgow. I am 9 years old and was admitted to have my tonsils removed. The care and attention I received from all the staff at ward 1B was absolutely amazing. They made me feel comfortable and safe & very attentive. My surgeon Miss Kunanadam was lovely and explained everything to help me feel at ease. All the staff were amazing and I couldnt have asked for anything more to make my procedure and aftercare better.

I really appreciate the work they do and believe they are susperstars

I am sorry to hear that you had to come in and have your tonsils removed but delighted to hear that you felt really well looked after while you were in Ward 1B. The teams work hard to ensure that our patients feel safe and cared for and have all the information they need, they will be delighted to hear what you have said. Our Chief Nurse and General Manager have passed on your kind comments to Miss Kunanadam and the team in Day Surgery.
