"A an E on a Saturday night"

My 94 year old mother was brought by ambulance to A and E after a fall. She spent 8 hours in the department, but this is not a complaint. She was attended to with care and waited for attention only because the department was very busy. Her personal needs were dealt with and her condition monitored the whole time. Despite her age she was not an obvious priority, being in no pain and without breathing difficulties. So a big thank you to all staff.
