"No privacy, dignity, respect for this oatient"

About: Leighton Hospital / Accident and emergency

After being refused to have dr visit me the previous day as told “you have flu and I’m not sending a dr to you to infect nhs staff”.

Turned up at this dept and was greeted by a rude receptionist who had not a clue about treating patients who had breathing issues.

Then seen by nurse practitioner who shown none of the above and announced arrogantly “nothing up other than a water infection”. Told sit back and wait in waiting room.

Eventually seen by out hours dr who diagnosed and gave me urgent nebuliser and other steroids given to me.

If staff don’t want to treat patients properly and just another job maybe they leave the nhs and get staff who want to care and not just treated like a piece of meat in a corridor full of people.

There is a triage room and others were seen in this room with privacy dignity and respect
