"Cancelled 4 times!!!!!"

4 times. And wish I went elsewhere to have the procedure done. Horrible experience. The nurse and desk staff where the only thing that was good. Didn't really feel comfortable. Just wish I walk out. Looking back on the experience I wish I now did.....

I am so sorry that you have been cancelled four times – this is not the standard we expect. We have processes in place to try and ensure that any patient who is cancelled is prioritised for future appointments.

Occasionally it becomes necessary to cancel a patient for a second time – for example, with last minute sickness of a clinician, but there is no excuse for cancelling the same patient four times. If you contact our customer care team on 01256 486766 or email customercare@hhft.nhs.uk, then we can look into your specific experiences and make sure we learn for future patients. We can also look into what happened when the procedure went ahead to see what we can do to make patients feel more comfortable.

I have shared your feedback with the clinical leaders for the department who are using your feedback to help improve care.
