"Gastroenterology/endoscopy"

About: King George Hospital

I was referred to Gastro enterologist at Queens Hospital because the Royal London hospital decided they no longer wanted to help me with retained mucous of large bowel.

(18 years) since Ileostomy. Developed skin ulcers last May 2017.and probably sepsis?

The Consultant who referred me for flexible sigmoidoscopy didn't know why I had been referred to him.

No follow up. Discharge summary from endoscopist said refer back to referrer.

I would like results of biopsies so who gives me this information? I have been informed the Consultant no longer works at Queens

I found the staff unhelpful. If they found it amusing then I dearly hope that one day they will suffer constant pain without help! A large majority of the population will grow old.

So another GP referral and wait of 15 plus weeks to see a different Gastro enterologist.

As a tax payer I am exasperated. Unable to get treatment privately because of risk.

And cared for sick people for over 25 years
