"Had my wisdom tooth 8 pulled out today"

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

I have a really bad phobia about dentists as It is and today just made it a hole lot worse.

I got called into the room where I was getting my tooth out the nurses explained what I was getting done, they was really welcoming and lovely but then there was the dentist man Who looked like the boss who was telling me what I need to have done and that he can save one of my teeth instead of getting it pulled out which I was happy about, then he said I’ll hand it over to another girl now so he said now you need to inject her she said ok I will use the small needle he said no you would need to use the yellow needle so that put me on edge from the start and with me suffering from panic attacks it set that off, so he had left the room now, so she injected me and left me sat these for 2 minutes before she pulled at my tooth it hurt a lot so I had to move away, she then injectioned again and again, she started pulling at my tooth again really tugging then that dentist man came storming I’m telling her she’s doing it wrong and to get off, so he started on my tooth saying to her you need to do it like this and that so she tries again he said no again took the thing off her and told her she’s not doing it right again you can imagine this put me on edge and I couldn’t stop shaking I felt I was going to pass out. He got my tooth out anyway and left. The trainee student was really nice but she didn’t know what she was doing which put me on edge and give me a really bad experience and no I’m suffering In more pain then I should be through her not knowing how to pull a wisdom tooth out as the dentist man said to her you are wiggling it which means your going to just make the gap bigger and she was doing this for a while.

After it had all been done they asked another girl to put that they waited for the injection to wait for 5/10 minutes which they didn’t, so they had to over inject me.

I will never come here again knowing that it might be a student doing something to me just doesn’t know what they are doing I feel I was used as a tester.

Just want to say again the nurses where lovely.
