"Cancelled appointments"

About: University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust

I usually have a annual check up with the cardiology dept plus an echocardiogram and heart monitor check periodically as I have hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. My next appointment was in March but was cancelled in January 2018. I rang a few weeks ago to ask why I hadn’t had another appointment come through but didn’t get a satisfactory answer is it it due to staff shortages or cut backs it’s unusual because the appointments have always come through to me on an regular basis up too now.
