"Years of frustration"

Having had numerous appointments with my dentist to have several teeth removed it became obvious that he was unable to successfully complete the treatment but was unwilling to refer me to Maxillofacial. This to my disgust and my GPs, citing that she couldn't look in my mouth.

This has gone on for more than 3 years and only when I saw my consultant Dr Venkatessen at the infectious disease clinic that this referral was made. Since then I have seen a consultancy team at Maxillofacial who instantly confirmed my suspicions that my teeth needed to be extracted.

I am now waiting for a letter to give me a date for a pre op and then hopefully my operation. It is something that for years, and to this day, frustrates me.
