About: Manchester Royal Eye Hospital

What I liked

I attended the daycase ward for a minor op. I was met by a very polite receptionist who went out of her way to find answers to the questions I had. All the staff were polite and attentive on the unit itself. I was given information regarding all aspects of my care. My op went smoothly and the nurse practitioner was very calm and put me at ease and best of all I felt no pain! Excellent service and all staff were a credit to the NHS.

What could be improved

I wasn't keen on the "airport lounge" style waiting area downstairs and I do think better and larger signage would be helpful.

Thank you. It is good to receive positive feedback which reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff. Your kind comments have been passed to the ward. We are always working on improving the signage and wayfinding across the hospital. Any suggestions can be e-mailed to pals@cmft.nhs.uk.
