Don't bother phoning, you will never get through or all appointments taken and then you repeat the whole process the next day until you give up and yet again go to the walk in centre near the princess Alice where you get seen within a short period of time and the doctors are great there.
Receptionists here are rude and unhelpful as a general rule. Doctors are good if you get to see them in person. I have been fobbed off over the phone that I just had a cold once when in fact I had septicemia and was very poorly indeed.
My daughter needs daily medication and if she has had to triple her medication and runs out sooner than expected, I get a lecture on not ordering them sooner, they say they can't get her a prescription for two days which would mean her organs would start failing, so yet again I end up going to the helpful walk in clinic, they are brilliant and literally a life saver.
