What I liked
In a two night stay in the Patient Recovery Unit after breast surgery, I must have encountered 20 staff, surgeons, doctors, anaesthetists, nursing staff, those who brought meals, the porters - even the man who came to empty the bins in my room - and absolutely everyone was friendly, professional and cheerful. What could have been a very difficult time was actually made a pleasant stay because of the consideration and care I received from staff, who were able to answer questions, give advice, or simply give care as appropriate.
I also had a very nice room to myself, which I didn't expect.
