"The Sett"

About: Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

My child was recently discharged from The Sett. There was no discharge planning. I was told a psychotherapist would contact me with an appointment. It hasn't happened and despite ringing and leaving messages nothing happens. I was told the Crisis team from CAMHS would ring us on discharge. No one rang for 5 days despite me ringing them after 2 days. They then arranged a meeting with my child 8 days post discharge 'to see how she was and see what they could offer her'! It's a joke. This should all have been organised properly before discharge. We may as well have been sent home with the phone number for the Samaritans. We have literally been dumped by The Sett and have no support bar ringing the Crisis team who say 'How are you?' Appalling care you should be ashamed of. I just hope my child does not manage to kill herself before she gets some help.
