Two weeks to the day after my first visit to the eye infirmary I had my cataract removed. The whole process from start to finish was seamless. All staff involved were highly professional yet at the same time I felt that I was being given personal treatment. Initial raised blood pressure (nerves) soon disappeared due to the calm approach from staff. I was away from family in the waiting room for 50 minutes and much of that time was spent on admin and the application of drops. The calmness of the procedure led to me feeling very relaxed by the time we went into theatre. No pain or discomfort whatsoever. Amazing staff. Thank you very much to all concerned for restoring superb sight to my eye. Can't recommend highly enough to anyone deciding whether to have treatment or not.
