Trying to an appointment at this surgery is beyond a joke and then you do finally get to talk to one of the receptionist all appointments are reserved for emergencies but they won't tell you what they class as an emergency. The best they can offer me is an appointment in a month's time and then to add insult to injury when you tell them your name and the problem - the receptionist actually laughed!!! How totally unprofessional

Thank you for your comments. We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the service you experienced. The reception team will be informed of this incident to ensure this does not happen again. Our current waiting time for a routine appointment is 2 weeks and is an area where we are always trying to improve for our patients. If a patient has an urgent requirement for an appointment they will always be seen on the day however it may not be the GP of preference.

Please contact the surgery to discuss further with the practice manager so that this can be investigated further. Thank you
